“Climate Action in Focus” is an event promoted by B4 – Brazil’s first carbon credit exchange – and organized by AWA Growth Partners. It will take place on November 13th in São Paulo, with free admission.
Aiming to enhance the debate and knowledge on topics related to carbon credits, B4 is hosting the “Climate Action in Focus” seminar on November 13th, starting at 10 AM, at AYA Earth Partners located in Cidade Matarazzo, São Paulo. The seminar is organized by AWA Growth Partners and features nationally recognized experts discussing the carbon credit market, blockchain, and regenerative finance. Confirmed speakers include: Fabiane Tessari, founder of InCarbon; Rodrigo Sluminsky, partner at Gaia Silva Gaede Advogados; Weber Amaral, PhD and M.A. from Harvard and Advisor at Deep ESG; Sergio All, founder of Conta Black and Advisor ReFi B4; Arthur Covatti, CEO and founder of Deep ESG; Sergio Maroni, founder of Tukano; Rodrigo Jorge Morais, president of the IASP Carbon Market and Climate Change Committee, and B4 GT leader; Carla Hoffmann, founder of AWA Partners; Fabrício Tota, director of new business at Mercado Bitcoin; and Odair Rodrigues, founder of B4. Additional experts will be confirmed.
The seminar will be divided into four panels: the first will cover carbon credits, discussing regulation and the bill approved by Senator Leila Barros in early October – regulated and voluntary markets, and their impact. The second panel will debate the concept of Regenerative Finance (ReFi), the third will focus on Blockchain and Carbon Credit Traceability, and the final panel will present market expectations for 2024.
In addition to Odair Rodrigues, the founder of B4, the event will feature other experts in sustainability, ESG, financial markets, ReFi, and Blockchain, including the aforementioned names and others to be confirmed. The event will also be graced by a member of the federal senate, who will contribute to the discussion on legislation for the regulated market.
