Sustainable Asset Trading: B4 Launches the Market’s First Exclusive Course

B4, the first climate action exchange in Brazil, takes a further step in educating the sustainable economy market by launching an exclusive training program on sustainable asset trading, which will take place on March 27.

With an eye on the sector’s growth and aiming to educate the market for a sustainability journey and carbon footprint mitigation, B4, the first climate action exchange in Brazil, has opened registrations for the B4 Traders Academy, a training program that will teach how to trade sustainable assets with a positive impact.

The event consists of an immersive in-person training session, taking place on March 27, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM in São Paulo. It will feature several professionals from the carbon market, financial market, Blockchain, ReFi, and other segments within the sustainability and finance universe.

To support the training, the course will be divided into 10 topics that explain the functioning and pillars of B4 and cover subjects related to traditional markets, the carbon market, crypto markets, risk management, regenerative finance, asset transformation, overcoming objections, and fundamental analysis.

The first participants of the immersion will receive a B4 NFT Passport, with benefits such as access to exclusive event areas, discounts on new courses and training, and early access to new B4 products and services.

“Today, there are several courses and training programs on how to trade on the stock exchange, but there’s nothing similar yet on how to trade in the carbon credit exchange. Adding to that the fact that B4 is committed to educating the sustainable economy market and helping companies with impactful projects, we created the B4 Traders Academy so that people can truly dive deep into this market that benefits companies, the economy, and, above all, the environment,” says Odair Rodrigues, founder and CEO of B4.

Among the specialists who will lead the training are Ronaldo Cortês, an investment expert with over 7 years of experience in the financial market; Carlos Di Agustini, MBA professor at FGV, Ph.D. in production engineering, and master’s in administration and finance specialist from New York University (Stern) and the University of California; Genilson Junior, head of investments at Conta Black with 10 years of experience working with financial solutions in sectors such as personal credit, real estate, and wealth building; and Fabiana Costa, a professional with 29 years of experience in the financial industry. More professionals will be confirmed soon.

About B4

One of the main goals of B4, the first climate action exchange in Brazil, is to act as a facilitator in the sustainability market. It was launched in August 2023 in São Paulo. Through Blockchain technology, B4 offers a solution that transforms sustainable assets, making carbon credit records immutable, preventing credit duplication, and ensuring a transparent and secure environment.

“B4 emerged with the purpose of acting as a facilitator in this carbon credit market, which is extremely valuable and growing rapidly, not only in Brazil but worldwide. Our expectation is for the company to move up to R$12 billion in carbon credits within its first year of operation. That’s why national regulation of this market is very important to us and to all companies and organizations genuinely concerned about global sustainability,” says Odair Rodrigues, founder and CEO of the company.
