Second edition of the event “Climate Action in Focus,” promoted by B4 – Brazil’s first climate action exchange – will address topics related to the new economy, blockchain, carbon credits, and positive impacts of companies.
Taking place on March 12, from 10 am to 1 pm at AYA Earth Partners in Cidade Matarazzo, São Paulo, the event aims to discuss sustainability, the new economy, blockchain, and themes related to companies’ positive environmental and climate impacts.
The first edition took place on November 13, 2023, gathering around 100 participants, including business leaders, experts, and guests. Four panels discussed topics related to the green economy, such as carbon market regulations, regenerative finance (ReFi), carbon credit traceability focusing on blockchain, and expectations for sustainability markets in 2024.
Following the success of the previous event, the “Climate Action in Focus – second edition” will feature key figures from sustainability and ESG sectors discussing topics like climate action journey, regenerative awareness and leadership behavior, regenerative impact projects, impacts of carbon credit regulation approval, and a socio-environmental balance for 2024.
Confirmed speakers include Odair Rodrigues, founder and CEO of B4; Suelen Marostica, B4 project director; Dr. Jeanine, a master in law and political neuroscientist; Sergio All, ReFi advisor at B4; Felipe Figueiredo, Pedro Semeghini, and Bernardo, founders of Acqua.Tís; and a representative from Instituto Global, among others to be confirmed.
The main objective of the event is to foster discussions on the importance of companies starting their sustainability journey to create and maintain projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, with a real positive impact on the environment. Additionally, B4 will present its indicators and new projects. The climate action clock will also be presented and explained during the event.
