It will take place on November 13th in S\u00e3o Paulo, with free admission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aiming to enhance the debate and knowledge on topics related to carbon credits, B4 is hosting the \u201cClimate Action in Focus\u201d seminar on November 13th, starting at 10 AM, at AYA Earth Partners located in Cidade Matarazzo, S\u00e3o Paulo. The seminar is organized by AWA Growth Partners and features nationally recognized experts discussing the carbon credit market, blockchain, and regenerative finance. Confirmed speakers include: Fabiane Tessari, founder of InCarbon; Rodrigo Sluminsky, partner at Gaia Silva Gaede Advogados; Weber Amaral, PhD and M.A. from Harvard and Advisor at Deep ESG; Sergio All, founder of Conta Black and Advisor ReFi B4; Arthur Covatti, CEO and founder of Deep ESG; Sergio Maroni, founder of Tukano; Rodrigo Jorge Morais, president of the IASP Carbon Market and Climate Change Committee, and B4 GT leader; Carla Hoffmann, founder of AWA Partners; Fabr\u00edcio Tota, director of new business at Mercado Bitcoin; and Odair Rodrigues, founder of B4. Additional experts will be confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The seminar will be divided into four panels: the first will cover carbon credits, discussing regulation and the bill approved by Senator Leila Barros in early October &#8211; regulated and voluntary markets, and their impact. The second panel will debate the concept of Regenerative Finance (ReFi), the third will focus on Blockchain and Carbon Credit Traceability, and the final panel will present market expectations for 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to Odair Rodrigues, the founder of B4, the event will feature other experts in sustainability, ESG, financial markets, ReFi, and Blockchain, including the aforementioned names and others to be confirmed. Launched in August this year in S\u00e3o Paulo, the B4 exchange gathered over 100 attendees, including representatives from NGOs, businesses, and investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Using Blockchain technology, B4 provides a solution that transforms assets, ensuring that carbon credit records are immutable, preventing credit duplication, and guaranteeing a transparent and secure environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cB4\u2019s purpose is to act as a facilitator in the carbon credit market, which is highly valuable and rapidly growing, both in Brazil and worldwide. We expect the company to handle up to R$ 12 billion in carbon credits in the first year.
