Adoption of Sustainable Standards: Commitment to Global Sustainability<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This measure aims to comply with Law No. 15,042 of 2024, which regulates the carbon credit market in Brazil, aligning us with global requirements and reinforcing our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint. Additionally, it reflects our adherence to the United Nations Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a specific focus on mitigating climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Compliance with International Audit and Regulatory Standards<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This requirement strengthens our compliance policy with international audit and regulatory standards, ensuring that all our operations and those of our partners meet the highest levels of transparency and environmental responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Importance of the Carbon Inventory<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Carbon Inventory, mandatory for all service providers, must reflect the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions resulting from their activities. This document will be essential for monitoring, controlling, and reducing carbon emissions, aligning suppliers\u2019 actions with our sustainability goals. (Law No. 15,042 of December 11, 2024, which establishes the Brazilian Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading System (SBCE), was published on Thursday, December 12.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. Implications and Benefits for Partners<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Partners who fail to submit the Carbon Inventory within the established deadline will no longer be able to provide services to B4 as of April 2, 2025. This measure ensures that all stakeholders in our operations share the commitment to reducing environmental impact and adhere to the best global governance and sustainability practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. Support and Guidance<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To assist our partners in preparing and implementing the Carbon Inventory, we will provide detailed guidelines and necessary resources to facilitate the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">B4\u2019s sustainability team will be available to answer any questions and provide the necessary guidance for compliance with this requirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For this purpose, the&nbsp;<strong>Agente do Clima<\/strong>&nbsp;solution is already available free of charge for a limited time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are confident that together, we can contribute significantly to building a more sustainable and ethical future.
