It aims to <strong>mobilize sustainable investments<\/strong> focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and adapting to climate change, while creating a <strong>safer and more robust investment environment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\ud83c\udf31 What\u2019s new?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udd10 With the <strong>Investment Guarantee Fund (FGI)<\/strong> backing projects under the program, financial security is strengthened. This enhances international investor confidence, especially in <strong>green and sustainable projects<\/strong> across key sectors such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Clean and sustainable technologies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bioeconomy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Circular economy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Energy transition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Infrastructure and climate adaptation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\ud83d\udcdc About the New Resolution<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Resolution No. 5,130\/2024<\/strong> sets rules for credit operations under the \u201c<strong>Eco Invest Brazil Line<\/strong>\u201d, which is part of the <strong>National Climate Change Fund (FNMC)<\/strong>. It enables the Treasury to launch <strong>auctions<\/strong> for the development of sustainable projects, particularly those involving:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Export of green goods and services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sustainable infrastructure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eco-tourism<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It also broadens the use of <strong>investment funds<\/strong> to diversify capital sources and attract new investor profiles \u2014 both nationally and globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\ud83e\udde9 Strategic Enhancements Include:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u2705 <strong>Authorization to acquire shares in investment funds<\/strong>, regulated by Brazil\u2019s Securities Commission (CVM)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83d\udcb8 <strong>Securitization of operations<\/strong>, boosting market-driven capital mobilization<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u23f3 <strong>Grace periods of up to three years<\/strong> for credit operations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83d\udd04 <strong>Mandatory reinvestment of returned resources<\/strong>, ensuring long-term impact<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83d\udee0\ufe0f <strong>New project structuring subline<\/strong>, enabling auctions for the technical and financial preparation of innovative projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By strengthening instruments such as <strong>blended finance<\/strong> and securitization, Brazil positions itself to scale up green investments and attract catalytic funds globally.
